1990 BMW Lock not locking sometimes?

Try turning the key past the lock position into the magnetic lock/auto window sunrooof closing area. The lock system oin that model is not a 100% mechanical system when you turn the key you ronly moving an electrical switching network. I have seen this problems to many times...
