For the love of god will some please help me I need help with the US military ?

Well im being forced to move to the USA. My pregnant girl friend.She is from Texas and now all of sudden well after 5 months of trying to figure out what we should do (well what she wants to do) she told me she's going back with me are with out me so now I have to leave my family my life my friends everything behind including my job. I've been in the Canadian army for about 8 years,I've been deployed 3 times twice to afghan and ones to hati for relief efforts.Now I don't want a life without the military even thow I wanna serve under the Canadian flag.But now that my discharge will be done soon and plus it's not really a option for me I want to do what makes me girlfriend happy so then it's off to housten grrrrrr! But my question is would a job in the US military be something good, and if so what branch would be best. I'm trained gunner on a leopard C2 and a leopard 2A6 I know them inside and out I can drive shoot command and load I did all of it including maintaining the beast, I got all my range qualifications **** you name It got it. what branch is the best for me,could I become a tanker what's the pay like, what's the life style like, and what kinda of tanks do they operate. what's training like and how long is it......... No stupid answers Please!!!!
