Guitar effects question?

How do you make cool guitar sounds like famoust guitarists? Stuff like long pinch harmonics and other things. Example: in the very beginning of I don't wanna stop by Ozzy Osbourne there's a guitar sound before the b comes in. And in enter sandman at the beginning during the opening there's a weird guitar sound. Can someone explain to me how to do stuff like this on my fender electric or my les paul guitar? I also have a fender 15G amp.
