I have a paranoid & controlling mother...I'm grown, how do I deal with her?

There's not a lot you can do without alienating her. One thing that comes to mind, though, is to get the jump on her... call her first. Try to initiate at least one of the phone calls that day. Another... visit her a little more often, with the kids, of course.
