What can I do if I can not afford a minimum balance on my credit card ?

I am disabled and my only income is my social security disability. I am not delinquent on this account and its getting harder for me to pay this. I usually have to cut back on my medication so I can pay this. I tried to talk to this company and explained my situation. I also asked them to lower my payment and they declined. They were very nasty, did not care and I expected that. I asked them if they could work with me and they said no. Like I mentioned above I am on ss disability and live in a mobile home which is 20 years old. The reason why I have this debt I had to buy medications and food to live on. What can I do? Please serious inquiries ( not being rude )
